Complete the project today by 5:00 P.M.Here are some items to keep in mind for what is needed in each of the five sections of your design folder. These are necessary but not sufficient for full marks. Refer to the areas of interaction in your blog entries. Check the MYP rubric for all of the details.
- Investigate—Include the design briefs and design specification in this section. Describe detailed methods for appropriate testing to evaluate the product against the design specification.
- Design—Include several feasible designs that meet the design specification.
- Plan—Produce a number of detailed, logical steps that describe the resources and time needed.
- Create—Document, with a series of photographs, printouts, and a dated record, the process of making your product.
- Evaluate—Evaluate the product against the design specification, evaluate its impact on life, society, and/or the environment. Evaluate your own performance at each stage of the design cycle and suggest ways in which your performance could have been improved.
- Check your blog entries to make sure that they satisfy the MYP rubric.
- Make sure that you have documentation showing intermediate work.
